Zumba
Zumba was created by a Colombian dancer and choreographer from Miami in the mid-1990s and is based on Latin-American dance. Loosely translated, ‘Zumba’ means ‘moving fast and having fun’. Zumba is now extremely popular. An estimated 15 million people per week, in 180 countries, go to Zumba lessons.
Ticket hour - All levels
During the Zumba lessons you combine swinging dance moves with a work-out. Latin-American dance movements are taut, quick, sporty and challenging. This is not suitable for everyone. However, during the Zumba lessons you will learn a few simple combinations of movements, so you can join in even if you do not have any dancing experience. Zumba is based on aerobic interval training, and is an intensive work-out.
